The Sound Song by Div. 10
Move over, High School Musical! Here is the latest recording from our Grade 3's in Div. 10.
Lyrics:
Sound is made up of vibrations
Moving out in waves
Moves through solid, gas, or liquid
Like water in a bay
Can you feel the slow vibrations?
They make a low-pitched sound
Can you feel the fast vibrations of a howl from a hound?
Lyrics:
Sound is made up of vibrations
Moving out in waves
Moves through solid, gas, or liquid
Like water in a bay
Can you feel the slow vibrations?
They make a low-pitched sound
Can you feel the fast vibrations of a howl from a hound?

What Makes Canada a Great Country (By Gulseerat, Gr. 5)
Canada is a great country. It is the destination for many people coming from war torn countries. Canada has no history of war. It is working against war. In Canada, people respect different religions. Once you lived in Canada a few years, you will see people from all races. It celebrates everything from Caribbean Day to Vaisakhi. In Canada, you will not see a lot of racism. People respect other people who are different from them. Canada has a fair government who takes everybody's votes into account and listens to everybody's opinion. Canada has a variety of seasons. It has all four seasons and none are too hot or too cold. Canada has a great health care system. You won't have to pay everytime you get sick. In Canada, we have lots of job opportunities. If you are new, you won't have to worry about all the jobs being taken. It will be easy to find and you'll be paid well. Ahh......clean air, we have lots in Canada. The air is not like other countries that have dust and smog in the air. The scenery is absolutely spectacular. You will be transfixed on the scenery. In Canada, we are working hard to get rid of pollution. Canada is very clean and you will rarely see a lot of garbage in one place. The best thing about Canada is the free schools. Now count how many other countries have that, not a lot, come to think of it, I don't think any other country has that. Now you can send your child to school even if you don't have a lot of money. All in all, Canada is a great country. I love living here and I know everybody else does too.
What Makes Canada a Great Country (by Sahil, Gr.3)
The things that make Canada a great place is that it is the home of the Olympics. In the Olympics the athletes perform for the audience. The mascots are called Sumi, Miga and Quatchi. The weather in Canada is rainy, snowy, sunny, and cold. The north part of Canada is close to the north pole that makes its northern parts very cold. Its western coast gets lots of rain throughout the year because of temperate rain forests. Its central areas get lots of snow because they are away from the ocean and they are in higher latitudes. Canada is special because of its wildlife. In Canada, there are polar bears, salmon, beavers, caribou, coyotes, groundhogs, foxes, grizzly bears, deer, killer whales and dolphins. Canada has a lot of trees. Most of the trees are evergreen trees. Canada has a very good environment because all Canadians respect trees. Canada is a multicultural country. People from all over the world come here and settle here. They respect everyone's culture and enjoy multicultural food. The elementary and secondary studies are free in Canada so everyone can learn. All these things make Canada a great place in the world and I am proud to be a Canadian.

'Cause we are the monster Migas
We come from Miga Ocean near Vancouver area
We`ll soak you down until you drop the crown
The torch is truly ours while you clean up these flowers
We will unleash our powers
